Loved the snow and the wild deer are very fun to feed with some bread in the neighborhood. Enjoyed our time at the cabin, its one of the nicer looking ones in the neighborhood and the location is ideal as well if you enjoy walking you can easily get to the shops on the main strip quite easily.

The deck was huge and glorious. We drank our coffee out there both mornings of our stay. The rooms were perfectly sized for our group.

We loved our cabin in the woods. Well-supplied with everything. Gorgeous front porch to relax on. Comfy furniture and beds. Close to downtown but not in the mountains - no scary roads to drive on at night! Did that last year! Good to make reservations for dinners out. Some restaurants close at 3:00. Great breakfast spots. Our favs are Cornerstone Bakery and Tina's Cafe. Fun quirky town to shop and browse in. We will be back!

The cabin was exactly as described and very peaceful. It was clean, plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. It was perfect for our trip. My grandson and I sat out on the porch every morning watching the birds. The temperature was perfect and a big relief from the Texas heat. They were very responsive with any questions we had and the instructions were easy to follow to get into the house. The exit instructions were easy to follow. We would definitely stay at this home again. We appreciated their wonderful hospitality.

What a great cabin! We had such a nice stay at Sylverthorne. It is a really great cabin for a family or a small group. There’s plenty of space to spread out, both indoors and outdoors. The kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked several meals, and everything we needed was there. There are games and puzzles galore for the family! It’s a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Grindstone Lake is quite close by. There’s a nice hiking trail there, plus frisbee golf and fishing. There were plenty of animals around. Deer would feed around the house in the morning and evenings. My favorite afternoon was sitting on the front porch watching the ‘wild’ horses work their way down the block. They were beautiful, and it was such a unique experience. I also saw elk one morning not too far from the cabin. We did several day trips around the area—there is so much to see and do! We can’t wait to return!

It was nice and it is close to down town so you can easily get to the stores and restaurants. I love the locations. It is fair space all 8 guests will fit.
