Beautiful home with ample room for everyone. Outstanding in many ways. Clean, comfortable accurate in description. Don't pass up the opportunity to rent this home. As with every rental there are a few things that could use some attention but that is easily overlooked. Our group would definitely stay here again.

We rented this property for a group of adult friends for an extended weekend. It was perfect for us. The kitchen, porch, and living room areas were big enough for everyone to sit together, and the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms gave each couple ample privacy. We would definitely stay here again. It is a little tough to get to though, so you definitely want to plan your grocery shopping well and before you drive out to the property.

We loved our time in New Mexico! The property was exactly as pictured… Large, room for everyone to spread out, all amenities were great. Plus, it snowed the day before we arrived so everything was blanketed in white. We would love to stay again!

Wild Horse Lodge was beautiful! Perfect size for our family . Had trouble with slow drains and called Maintenance and they were there within an hour and a half and everything was fixed and no more problems! Our only complaint was we saw no wildlife! But we will stay there again if we get a chance! Thank you to the family that shared their wonderful home with us!

We learned the wild horses come daily at the golf course in the morning and evening. We saw them, and they came up to us for apples! This was not far from the house. The house is very pleasant. Everything was described accurately. We had No negative surprises. The home was beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend Hummingbird Cabins, and this home.

This is our second stay in a Hummingbird Cabins home and we could not be more happy. The service through Hummingbird Cabins is amazing! The 2 homes we have stayed in were beautiful. I will only deal with Hummingbird Cabins when staying in Ruidoso, NM. Thank you Hummingbird Cabins for giving my entire family the ability to create memories together with no stress.

The house is beautiful surrounded my nature and trees. Deer come to greet you every morning. The wrap around porch is great for drinking coffee outside every morning. The game-room is great entertainment for teens. The house is great for a Big Family from Texas.

Amazing stay to say the least. Property was clean and had plenty of room for our family. This is definitely a property i would book again if back in Ruidoso. The only thing is a bit far from the racetrack but other than that, it is excellent! Property managers responded really fast any time I sent them emails with questions.

This was such a cool house - the 4 bedrooms upstairs are connected by a bridge, and you can see the downstairs from it. The master bedroom was awesome, and we had fun down in the gameroom downstairs too. The bathtubs needed a little elbow grease as far as cleaning goes, and the water pressure was low, but overall a great house that worked for our family vacation!

“Gorgeous home that is well loved, nicely decorated and quite clean. The views are stunning. I mean, we literally saw shooting stars (plural) at night and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets from the deck. We had a magical time. There were deer and a non-stinky skunk. We were able to relax in this serene and private place perched up in the woods over the weekend and are so happy we did.. The game room is fun and we extended that experience outside too, playing horseshoe, shooting basketballs, and enjoying a dusk dip in the perfect hot tub. We cooked easily in the fully equipped kitchen, used the gas grill, and enjoyed every meal. There was comfortable seating indoors and out. The house has a spacious deck and two private upstairs balconies off 2/5 bedrooms. Master suite is on the ground floor. There is garage (basement) access, which is where the game room is located. There are two driveways up– a deck side/ dining room access point for easy luggage loading and the other that leads to the garage. The upstairs entryway/ stairwell is unique, rustic and really attractive. Thanks again very much for having us. We’ll be back!”

We enjoyed our stay but we were cold. Knowing the weather would be so cold, it would have been nice if the downstairs game room had heat and the heater in the kitchen/living area was not big enough to heat that large of an area. Once space heaters were brought in, it was more comfortable. Also, liquid dish washing detergent and a spray cleaner for the kitchen would be helpful.

We really enjoyed this cabin.Was a little difficult to find, but follow the instructions they send instead of using your GPS.As foe the home, the kids enjoyed playing fuse-ball, basketball, we enjoyed playing pool. We love the privacy of the cabin and the area. We were able to go fishing, hiking and relaxed and had a BBQ on the gorgeous deck. We recommend this cabin and will definitely be going back, the cabin is stocked with everything you need. After spending one week at the Wild Horse Lodge, the entire family realized how privileged the week became. The accommodations were perfect for our large family reunion. The home and the surroundings were safe for all of our little ones, never having to worry about cars because of being at the end of the road with a long driveway approach. The Wild Horse Lodge was convenient to so many sights, from the White Sands Monument only an 1 1/2 hr away to the Ski Apache, only 35 minutes up the mountain. Of course, the most memorable sight remains having deer and elk in our yard. Thank you to the rental staff for the excellent response to any concerns and questions.

For this first time in over 10 years, we were able to gather all the family for my mother's 60th birthday. The house was so spacious an roomy. There was something for everyone of all ages-either out on the deck singer karaoke, or playing games in the game room. We utilized the entire property and would recommend it to everyone. This house is more than we ever imagined. Thank you...we will be back when mom turns 70!

We stayed at Wild Horse Lodge and had a great time! Plenty of room for our family (10) and the view was awesome. Plan on being back in Ruidoso again next year! For a large family or couple of families, this is an excellent place to hang out and enjoy. do have the TV and WiFi, but the porch and quiet is hard to beat. thanks!

We fell in love with Wild Horse cabin the minute we drove up the driveway. We planned a family retreat for 12 members of our family, ages ranging from 3 to 60. There were things to entertain EVERYONE!!! Pool table, foosball, darts, basketball, hot tub….we loved it all. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Pots, pans and dishes galore….even a special Green Chili Casserole recipe! We would recommend this cabin to any big family looking for a great place to make lofts of special memories!!
