Great property, really the only issue was checking in. The code given to me via email did not work. I’m just glad I was able to get a hold of someone and they were able to help. Overall it was great. Lots of room and fantastic view.

We had the best stay. The house was very spacious allowing everyone to feel very comfortable and not crowded. We enjoyed waking up and walking to the livingroom seeing the view of nature, felt as if we were sitting outside.

3 brothers and their wives. Plenty of room to stay. 2 master bedrooms with their own bathrooms, and 1 bedroom that shares the hall bathroom. All bedrooms are king size beds and an office off the big living area with A full or Queen. TV’s in every room and just overall GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!

An Absolutely Fabulous Stay! The home was exactly as described. Beautiful views, very close to town and a great neighborhood. The washer/dryer were so nice to have for an extended stay. There were great views from every room. A gas grill was provided for grilling on one of the 4 decks. There were plenty of kitchen supplies and bathroom towels. This was my family's favorite Christmas vacation. Dad got to watch deer and elk walk past the windows as we girls shopped those adorable shops in Mid Town. Ski Apache was 30 minutes away and Winter Park was 15 minutes away with snow tubing. We ice skated in Midtown and had hot cocoa around the fire right next to the rink. It was truly everything we had hoped for in a winter vacation. Ps. The management company did an excellent job when called upon for help and George (maintenance) was readily available with the minor glitches we had. Thank you Hummingbird Cabins!

Beautiful home in a fantastic location. Close to downtown Ruidoso and the casino. Stayed with my boyfriend, sister and older parents plus our 3 pups. Mom is in a wheelchair and that can make getaways kind of difficult to navigate, this home was absolutely perfect, the majority of the home is completely wheelchair accessible. The den is sunken but has a bar along one side which allowed mom to take the three steps with a bit of help. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out and have their own space. Close to a couple of walking trails for walking the pups. Beautiful, amazing home, grateful to the owners for making it literally feel like you are staying with family.

My family and I had a very pleasant and amazing stay. Your home is very cozy and comfortable. The view and decks are awesome. We will definitely re-book possibly as soon as Spring 2022 and for sure next Thanksgiving 2022. Our dog Coda was welcomed and that was an added bonus. Thank you for allowing pets.

Had a wonderful weekend with Mother and 6 Sisters. The cabin was spacious. We played cards at the round table. Cooked fabulous meals in the large kitchen. Neighborhood and location are perfect. Definitely look forward to renting again.

Took the family on vacation here during the Thanksgiving week and this place was amazing and house had everything we needed. We picked this rental because of the windows and it did not disappoint, the night time views and getting to see the snow come down was perfect. 100% recommend this place for anyone looking to getaway.

This cabin was in an excellent location - super close to the main road, restaurants, etc. but tucked back so that it was still extremely quiet and not a lot of traffic. The property itself was great as well with plenty of space for our dogs to run. The layout was also great because we were able to keep them separate from the rest of our party at night when we were sleeping (they tend to bark when they hear animals). The host was super responsive and accommodating - our only complaint was there was a fine layer of dust that easily wiped off, which is not all that surprising with limited travel lately. Overall, we had a great trip and a wonderful experience and would definitely go back!

Don't listen to the one person's negative. It was a great place at a great rate. Tons of room. We even had family over one night for dinner. still plenty of room. If you need space this is the place.

The only downfall was people need privacy. You could not close the blinds at all. The back bedroom was the worse no blinds on the window and it needs a curtain on the door. Living room was beautiful but the lights did not work. Not good lighting at night in there.

This home has a spacious living room with a lovely view of the pines that makes you feel like you are far further up the mountain and much more isolated than you are (which is nice as the town with restaurants and shopping is only minutes away). Such a fun space for our family of four, but do know that the space is divided to allow the space for 8 very comfortably with two bedrooms with en suite baths. The dining room is beautiful with seating for eight at the table and barstools for four more if you have some kiddos in your group. The kitchen was obviously designed by a great cook, though I am not one. Gas range with large vented area for serious chefs, or of course, you can run into town for dinner like we did. There is a basketball court on the property, though it is not in mint condition. Deer do walk by the picturesque windows each day. Just a wonderful get-away home! Notes: Our GPS tried to take us down Jann street to get to the property, but it is on Heath as the address indicates. We got there well after dark, making finding the home with our incorrect GPS difficult. Then, while the light switches are well-labeled, they are in kind of weird places (just not where you would expect). Again, I recommend arriving before dark so you don't have to use your phone light to sort out the switches. Also, if you start the vintage Christmas magazine covers puzzle with 1000 pieces, start it the day you get there if you hope to complete it. I think the cleaning fees were too much and the prior housekeeper could have done a better job but I also understand that staff is a challenge to get in the area. I would recommend the home again and we love that it is pet friendly.

We really enjoyed out stay here - We are three couples and it is nice to each have a king size bed and our own bathroom, all on a level floor plan - The fireplace was awesome - We also saw several HERDS of Elk and Deer - Loved the open floor plan - People could be playing cards and others watching TV and we were all there together - Can't wait to come back!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Apache Pines Estate #798 in Aug. The home is large and beautiful with nice furnishings and décor. We slept so well on the great beds, pillows, and quality linens. Abundant deer and hummingbirds. One deer even walked up very close when gently coaxed. Everyone laughed, played games, and relaxed on the deck outside and in the huge living room overlooking the beauty outside. The mountains are awesome. Had a blast zip lining one day. Loved the shopping too. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a first class vacation.

HUGE space for our friends and family to gather! This house has an amazing amount of space and a great layout for entertaining. The kitchen is well stocked and the main living area is fantastic. I was a bit surprised by the beds to living area ratio - this is a HUGE house for 3 beds (sleeps 6 + sofa bed) there is also a bathroom per bedroom and two master bedrooms.

Loved this cabin! It has great space and in a great location! We will be staying here again!! We had an amazing stay!! The cabin was perfect and in a great location! The House was very clean. My ONLY complaint is that the dishes were not clean at all. Every piece we pulled out had food on them. I’m sure that’s from the previous guest. Other than that the House was perfect!

We just stayed in Apache Pines Estate for one week. The house was perfect for the 5 of us.Plenty of room for all! Beautiful views of Sierra Blanca mountain with a huge yard.Gourmet kitchen was set up better than was expected. Great fireplace in spacious family room. The whole house had the best in Tv and entertainment. All in all, it was a perfect place to stay and would highly recommend it for everyone!!
