The cabin was very nice and very close to town, just five minute drive to mid-town. The cabin did not suffer in the flooding, though damage is evident along the creek. One quibble: not enough light in the bedrooms. Lots of deer, horses and elk visited. We shall return.

Cedarside cabin was exactly as listed in the posting. Check in was a breeze, everything was clean (especially the hot tub), and when they said fully stocked kitchen, they really mean it! Beds were comfy, there was room for everyone, and overall the group had an awesome stay. Would return in the future.

Beautiful family get away cabin. Very well equipped and fully stocked kitchen. The second queen size bedroom is fairly small but it worked perfectly for us. Outside light need update but overall a beautiful stay. Downtown is near but truly with everything the cabin had, you might not even want to leave :)

This cabin was a nice stay. It was a tad outdated but otherwise everything was good. The rooms were nice. The hot tub was a definite plus to relax. It was just a nice relaxing place to stay. Cabins are closer together, however, everyone was pretty quiet when needed to be. It was right off a main road so easy to get around and close to many things.

House was clean with some stains on furniture covers. The view, due to all the windows from the living room, is terrific. Home was easy to find and check in was simple. Being able to bring a pet was great too. Deer visitors daily was a neat experience.

We were all very impressed with the cabin, especially with the help that was provided opening the key lock. The gentleman arrived faster than expected and was very professional. The only thing was a broken recliner, maybe that should be removed for safety purposes? (note from HBC- it has been removed.) Other than that, the place is lovely, it had all kitchen accessories we needed and more, plenty of pillows, towels, toiletries, jacuzzi was amazing and loved the chalk door sign. Only thing I regret is not writing in their Guest Book. Thank you for everything and we will definitely return!

We had a great stay. Large cabin with plenty of beds and fully stocked with kitchen items for cooking. Hot tub was great. The wildlife came very close to the cabin, and we saw wildlife walking around the are. Would stay here again.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the beautiful scenery and wildlife. it was very relaxing to sit in the hot tub under the stars. We had everything we need to prepare meals. Our entire family enjoyed our time there and want to return.

Property is closely located to the historic downtown area, and neighborhood was very quiet and calming. Only suggestions that would be made are the bed mattresses are very stiff, the "master bath" needs better anti-slip flooring in the shower/tub, and the hot tub could use some updating. Regardless of those issues the place was fantastic!

This cabin is lovely. It is close to the main strip but tucked away into the mountain. You are close to anywhere you'd want to go but has the feel of a secluded mountain cabin.

We had an awesome stay. The cabin was clean and contained everything we needed. The only issue we had was the dinning room chairs kept coming apart. Otherwise, our stay was perfect. Loved relaxing in the hot tub with snow falling on us.

They graciously let us check in early and the place was fantastic. Was worried it’d be small but was spread out and spacious! Did notice a dirt under the chair in the living room, though I wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t have kids losing toys underneath! Water was hot, heater worked, fireplace was fun and the beds were nice and firm, just like I like them. Would highly recommend! They don’t let you leave any food so bring any condiments you may need, also Tupperware if you want to keep leftovers. We had a fantastic time!

The stay was perfect. The porch was great for relaxing. Daughter enjoyed the hot tub. There was every utensil and kitchen dish, pot or pan anyone could want.The cabin was as nice as any home we have been in. We never heard another human voice the four days we were there. The location was also perfect. We have already sent pictures and addresses to four friends who will probably contact your company for next year or this fall. Yes we will come again!!

This cabin was beautiful and spacious. I have a few concerns regarding this cabin though, when we first arrived the first thing I noticed was the stains in the carpets and couches it felt dirty, the next morning when I wanted to make breakfast the dishes still had old food on them mostly because the cleaning procedure was only to stick them in the dish washer with dish washer soap, there was no dish washing soap such as Dawn available in the cabin I had to purchase, on the amenities list it states that you are given 2 rolls of paper towels, when I ran out of the half roll that was left there was no other roll to be found, again had to purchase more. The cabin it self and location are lovely, the large front deck is amazing to enjoy, the windows are great for cold mornings but you can still enjoy the view, the back deck was also nice, the hot tub was a joy but on the hot tub there is a piece that is in dire need of being replaced it is very rusted and the water sometimes runs over it if you move or anything which I did not like. Overall I love Hummingbird Cabins. Note from HBC: carpet and furniture cleaning scheduled for end of April

Everything was perfect, we only leave a note in the cabin to let you guys know that on the last day of our stay the snow on the porch was starting to melt and we found dog poop and a plate with dog food by the hammock and also we found some dog toys under the bed in the master bedroom, but in general everything else was excellent and the cabin is beautiful. Suggestion would be to add a shovel during winter months and perhaps a bag of salt. Tough getting up sloped driveway and stairs without shovel.

The cabin overall was great. I think the fireplace chimney might need to be cleaned. A lot of the smoke and smoke smell came back into the cabin. We loved the location. It was easy to get to everything. We will definitely be staying here again.

The staff is great and emails back quickly. The cabins code to lock box had changed and was not the same code as given and leaving directions were a little different online than in booklet. The cabin was clean and in good condition. There was a drawer in the kitchen that was broken and would not slide in easily and some stains on master bedroom curtain. I think by fixing or replacing the little things the cabin would look better and feel cleaner. Overall i would rent this cabin again.

Location, Location,Location! Close to everything : Main Street shops,restaurants, golf at the Links and two others, Lincoln National Forest bike and walking trails,and skiing at Apache Mountain. There is a lot to do here! Cabin has a window wall from floor to ceiling to fill living space with natural light. Massive rock fire place to cathedral ceiling is the center piece of the room,split master bedroom has it's own bathroom and large closet. Also, sliding glass door to large front deck. Rear deck has secluded hot tub area. Large lot often have visiting Mule deer and elk on their feeding travels. We hope our guests enjoy the cabin as much as we do..

Cedarside Cabin was the perfect size cabin for our family's needs. There were 7 of us, including myself, my mother and father-in-law, as well as my own mother, my husband, and our two young children ages 2 and 7. We felt we had plenty of room and space to relax and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of Ruidoso. We especially enjoyed the cabin's large deck, the hot tub, and fireplace. Another thing we appreciated about the Cedarside Cabin was it's location. The cabin is conveniently located near to town, yet also secluded enough in the pines where we could view the deer and other wild life. We had a wonderful time and would stay at Cedarside again!

great location, kitchen is great as well. Lots of space to gather around as a family for quality time. Everything was good, thank you for letting us stay at the cabin. Only thing i'd recommend is getting a new dinner table or tightening the legs/frame. Its very wobbly to the point that someone walking by and grazing it will cause it to sway and spill your drink. Not a big deal but def had to be careful with the kids drinks. Thanks again!!!

El lugar es perfecto, muy espacioso, cómodo, cocina completa, una terraza amplia, la sala es muy cómoda y el jacuzzi del patio le da un gran toque. Está muy cerca de las avenidas principales para poder ir a comprar lo necesario. El lugar es pura paz y tranquilidad. Totalmente recomendable.

We had a large group of friends visit and needed additional room so we rented Cedarside for the weekend. Our friends loved the cabin, and we so surprised that when the rains come it really cools down quickly in the mountains... they made a fire and enjoyed the home. Hot tub was AMAZING!! The management company was really easy to work with and very nice.

My wife, four grandchildren and I stayed in the Cedarside Cabin the 10th through 17th of March. The cabin was just as the pictures had depicted. Things were clean but not necessarily spotless. We were pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked with dishes, flatware, utensils and pots and pans. The weather was perfect with warm daytime temperatures that allowed the grand children to enjoy the hot tub. On the downside we could not use the garden hose to top off the hot tub water level as it seemed the outside faucet was shut off from under the cabin. On the back deck a small metal trash can was full of trash left by the previous renters, we emptied it as so as not to be charged for failure to remove trash. The walk in shower and the tub shower water controls were difficult to use and the showerheads should be cleaned or replaced. Overall we had a good time with the grandchildren and the cabin met our needs.

We stayed at the Cedarside Cabin and loved our stay! Although the cabin is a bit outdated it was very nice. The negative things about it were: the bedroom with the two twins needs a darkening shade as the light comes in very brightly at night which made it hard to sleep. The light switch in the queen bedroom was malfunctioning. The locks in both bathrooms were broken so we had to come up with a system to show others that they were in use…annoying but we made it work. Also the showers are outdated and the floors need an anti-slip mat. The kitchen light bulb blew out so it was dim. Although this cabin allows up to 8 people, there was only seating for 6 at the dining room table. Since there was no wood provided for the fireplace, we had to go buy our own. We have stayed at other Hummingbird Cabins before and there has always been firewood provided. Not a big deal, but it was extra work. Also we had to clean the glass fireplace doors as they were black/extremely dirty and could not see through them (maybe we can get an extra $50 refunded for our supplies and our hard work?!) Running the fireplace with the doors open was not an option because there was no fireplace screen. Ok now, for the good stuff: this cabin has a unique shape to it which we LOVED! The wrap around porch is big and we really enjoyed it. In the backyard there is a beautiful totem pole that is perfect for photos. The hot tub was amazing, although the lights in it were not working. The neighborhood was quiet and serene. We loved that you could park right up to the stairs. The beds were comfortable. Loved that it has a washer & dryer. With some minor repairs, we’d definitely stay here again!

My family stayed at the Cedarside Cabin this year and loved it. The cabin had great views with the wrap around deck and lots of room. It was very clean and had supplies for my Uncle to make his famous Sunday morning breakfast. We would stay at Cedarside again.

We loved our stay at Cedarside Cabin the weekend of June 27 – 30. Only suggestion we have is to update the mattresses. One was extremely soft the other hard as a rock. Love you guys and we will be back. By the way thus was our 4th time to stay at a Hummingbird Cabin.

We stayed at the Cedarside and had a good time. The TV situation is however unacceptable. I realize that watching TV is not/should not be the top priority whilst on holiday but if you wanted to it was simply a very poor option. The layout of the living area was such that the TV was in the corner of the room with poor/limited seating. The screen size was such that you had to be close, maybe a 30 inch screen? You had to move the couch and chairs if you wanted to attempt a family movie. Additionally the TV was mounted on the Master bedroom wall. If anyone was sleeping in the Master, watching TV in the Living was not a non-starter. The fireplace was begging for the TV to be mounted on it, a little work and this gets done. Lastly the TV in the Master was sub par. Long room, very small TV directly opposite the bed. Watching TV in bed is not an option. Luckily we were out and about most of the time so it was a whatever situation but for those looking for family movie night or watching the big game, not so much.
