Great rustic cottage for our short stay in Ruidoso, in a beautiful, central location. It has everything we needed for our family and pets. The property is very clean and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the hot tub and little terrace were definitely a plus. Highly recommended!

The property was exactly what we needed for our quick getaway. Had everything we could have wanted. Only one small complaint, the bedroom closest to the bathroom, the carpet was dirty and had a weird smell to it. But, we gladly used the other room and have no complaints.

Comfortable, accommodating and delightful cabin. The deck has a great view of the mountain and wildlife loves to come by and visit. Check in was confusing but resolved by property management. Recommend management state early on that if directions and access code are not received by email in X time be sure and check your Junk mailbox, which is where I found mine and caused the confusion. Otherwise, sweet cabin and management was courteous and responsive.

The cabin was just what it appeared to be online. Check-in was a little challenging, but the property manager was quick to respond and it worked out fine. Well-stocked kitchen, nice grill, and the hot tub was a great bonus. The neighborhood was quiet and felt like we had plenty of space. Would definitely stay again.

My husband, me and our grown daughter came up to Ruidoso for week to get out of the Texas heat and to relax. We also bought our small dog with us. My husband and I had been to the area before and fell in love with it. If I could afford it I would stay a whole month. This was the first time to rent this particular cabin and it was lovely, clean, decorated very nicely and the area around the cabin was beautiful with wild life, tall pine trees and it made for great walks. I would definitely stay there again and can highly recommend it.

Amazing property. The only major issue is the hvac cover in the living room is dangerously positioned on the ground in a main thoroughfare, so that when the heat is running, the metal grate will and does burn skin. If you have children or just don't want to burn your feet, this can be a concern.

Cute and convenient location. Everything you need is there. Fireplace wasn't in working condition during our stay but we weren't planning on using it anyway. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was great. I would just suggest maybe some DVDs or board games for little ones. But overall, great. Would stay again.

We visited for a quarantined vacation and had an awesome stay. The cabin was ideal for our needs and the hot tub was perfect! Would definitely stay here again. The only thing I'd have liked is transparency of the pet fees prior to booking, there was no mention of them on the listing. Other than that, highly recommend!

Great value for your money! Very cozy home! Very clean! And comes with all you need to cook from home. Within walking distance to the strip and a nearby park! Saw deer and even got visited by a humming bird. We cooked in every day and all the pots and pans were available to use! Even the stove! We also grilled out one night and that hot tub was a delight every afternoon with the beautiful mountain scenery in the back! Will definitely consider coming back to stay again! This place is a must!

We had a lovely time and very much enjoyed the hot tub and view of the mountain from the deck. Kitchen was stocked well enough for us to enjoy home cooked meals throughout our stay. The cabin is very private with no renters the holiday weekend we were there. Cleaning could have been a little better, but the mountain is really why you're coming :)

This place was really great. Awesome location, you can walk to Mid-Town Ruidoso, just a few blocks. Very easy to drive to / find. Beds were comfy. Hot tub was really nice in the cool evenings and the view from the porch was amazing, even better than the pics show. It had everything we needed for our small family of 4. Super easy check-in and booking as well. I especially loved the Texas / Hunting theme, being a Texan hunter myself!! We had a great time and will be back!

I'll start with the positives: Location, location, location and OMG the view from the porch is amazing! The property is only a short walk to the main and best part of Mid Town. With lots of shopping, eats and drinks just minutes walk away. The view, might be the best residential Mid Town view there is. Due to the Athletic Club and past that the park, the trees have been cleared. You have a perfect stunning view of Sierra Blanca. And I mean STUNNING! We loved the hot tub being on the porch that looked at the mountain. Great relaxing spot mostly. The negatives: aged interior, could have been more thoroughly cleaned. The decor and furniture was very out dated. The livingroom layout could have been flipped. TV on the opposite wall and recliners closer to the entrance and fireplace. This would allow for more walking room past the furnace vent. Which in thre current layout is almost impossible to not step on. And like the note says, it's HOT! While things are clean, you can tell that it hasn't been deep cleaned in awhile. The knobs on the stove look like they're rarely pulled off and cleaned behind. And my husband wiped some spots off the cabinets that were there from before us. You could visibly see where he cleaned the cabinet. The flue to the chimney was left open by previous renters also. And for the first day we couldn't figure out why it would warm up in the cabin. Until while sitting on the couch I could feel the draft. Once closed it warmed up nicely. While the hot tub is relaxing and has an amazing view it isn't really the most private. The neighbors above you look directly into the hot tub. Maybe adding a raised privacy "screen" slatted boards or the like to the existing railing would be a plus. The long mirror in the bathroom with the word squiggle mark could also be replaced. Overall, the cabin is cute and comfy. And the location and view couldn't be more perfect. We did enjoy our stay and would rent the cabin again and also recommend it as a place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Days Inn cabin...it was quiet, quaint, very cute, and was exactly just what we needed when we chose Ruidoso for our vacation getaway. Perfect place to observe nature and also close enough to the downtown area that shopping/eating is within walking distance. The hot tub was a major plus after a long day of wear and tear on your feet. I will be returning!!

This cabin is just as cute and cozy as the pictures show. The location was great because we were in the center of everything but far enough away so as not to hear much noise. The hot tub was on and hot when we got there which was a very nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked regarding cook and bake ware so we could have made almost anything. My husband and I were paid a couple visits from a sweet little deer which was really neat! The heater wasn't working due to a part on order and it was raining and chilly during our stay. I called and maintenance brought us two space heaters within a couple of hours and they kept us warm. We really enjoyed our time there! It would nicer if the check out was an hour later and check in an hour earlier. Overall, the whole experience was great and we would stay here again.

The cabin was so cute and it fit our needs. The only thing was that VRBO stated that the check out time is 11 and when we got there, the sign said the check out time was 10. I texted the rental agency and they said check out time was 10 and that third party website had it wrong and they were trying to get it fixed. Otherwise, the space was awesome!

What a perfect space! Plenty of room for a small group of people and a perfect location right next to town and a little park. We will definitely be back and will recommend to our friends! Thank you so much for providing such a calming and beautiful space to relax in. In the midst of one of the worst flu seasons these two nurses found respite. Very nice and quiet property ,was able to hang out with a family of deer in the morning and the hot tub works excellent!! cabin had almost all amenities needed for a great weekend. Looking forward to returning again soon. Enjoyed the view and the property. We were missing propane, fire starter and coffee. However I reached out to staff about propane and was delivered a new tank with in an hour! Great experience looking forward to returning soon

Gorgeous little spot! Conveniently located to the main street in Ruidoso, easy walking distance to great stores and restaurants, a short hop to Inn of the Mountain Gods, and a very scenic and windy drive to Ski Apache. Hosts were very helpful with answering questions and very willing to work with our group on the check-in times. The cabin was perfect for a group of four (plus one dog), looking to relax for the weekend and cook a few meals at home. The fireplace was very nice for the chilly nights, and the hot tub was a perfect place to kick back and enjoy the crisp air. We even got some visiting mule deer in the mornings! Would definitely book again if we make a return trip to Ruidoso. We had a great weekend! Thank you so much for the stay.

We stayed at the Happy Days Inn over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We had such a wonderful time! Deer came every day and ate out of our hands right at the front door of the cabin, such an awesome experience! I love the location, close to shopping, yet quiet and peaceful at the same time. We’ll definitely stay here again! Large deck with a picnic table and a lovely view of the mountain. Cabin was clean and amply stocked (although we did purchase toilet paper as we ran out before our stay was up) There are a few things I’d recommend; there should be firewood supplied for guests (we bought some in town) and for the price of the cleaning fees charged, guests shouldn’t have to strip the beds and put linens into a laundry basket, dishes should be checked to make sure their clean (we washed all of the ones we used prior to using them because there were several that were dirty) and invest into some better cooking utensils as those were outdated (a cheap set from Walmart would work fine and they’d all match!) The owner has recently added a new hot tub and we are in the process of updating the cooking utensils.
