We did enjoy our stay in the lovely Golden Pines cabin. We have been coming to Ruidoso since the mid 1970's and this is one of the best we have stayed in. We truly enjoyed the covered patio in the mornings and evenings. The decor was beautiful and the bedrooms were comfortable. We will definitely be back!

The cabin is very comfortable and well furnished. Loved the porches and fenced area for dogs. Lots of elk and wild horses roaming the area.

The cabin was charming, spotless and met our needs. Our dogs enjoyed the two fenced yards, although they did lose their minds the first time an enormous elk parked himself right by the front yard fence to have a snack. Elk was not impressed by the dogs and just sort of rolled his eyes and enjoyed his afternoon snack. The wild horses were a joy and they visited every day as did the deer. Really made this place special. Was easy to walk the dogs and the cabin was a peaceful place to spend the week. We will be back.

First off, I want to say DO NOT let Google maps find this house for you. It got us terribly lost. Just use the directions from Hummingbird Cabins. Other than Google Maps getting us lost, we had a great time. The house was clean, hot tub was nice. Great place for pet owners. The only thing I would suggest is that they replace the flickering kitchen lights and get a new bulb for the master bathroom.

Property situated in quiet neighborhood just minutes from restaurants, shopping and hiking. Just the get away we were looking for. Kitchen, living and dining area very spacious. Covered deck perfect for morning coffee. Enjoyed seeing the elk and deer that came to visit. The main bedroom was especially nice with the en suite bathroom very roomy. Will stay again if the opportunity arises.

This is by far the BEST place we have ever stayed and already talking about going back. It was great location and beautiful cabin. It has two backyards for the dogs, which was so nice to have. I highly recommend staying here!

This house is as advertised. Our 2 maltese loved the wildlife show. You have neighbors but only saw one and this is a very private place. Very close to all restaurants and activities. nice-sized living room with large TV in living room and bedroom. We would definitely stay again!, DrJ

The little house was perfect for our family and dog. So clean and had everything we needed to get away for the weekend. The hot tub was great and clean, we saw wildlife while drinking coffee on the patio and overall really enjoyed the little cabin. We'll definitely be back!

This house is amazing, the kitchen has everything you need and then some. The front porch was wonderful loved sitting in the morning with coffee watching the deer, elk and wild horses come by and say good morning. Enjoyed it in the evening with a glass of wine and with the same visitors. Dogs loved the yard we loved the fence. It is so peaceful. Location is perfect. We had to call for help getting in it was not a big deal fixed in nothing flat. It is hard to find a good place that excepts pets and we are thankful they let our fur babies stay. Only thing I have to say is if you travel with a pet please pick up after them. We will be back with family and friend

Place was beautiful. Nice and clean, spacious, nice hot tub right off the back porch. Dogs had a blast with two yards to play in that were fenced. Super close to town which was really nice. Only issue was our door code did not work but as soon as we called they answered and gave us a new code that worked. The 4:00 check-in seemed a little late to us because that is 5:00 at home. Tried to ask if we could come early and couldn’t. Would highly recommend!!!

We were lucky to get snow upon arrival to the home rented. The home was beautiful, with a fenced in yard that was perfect for our pets. If you have never been to Ruidoso, NM this is your sign to go!

Hummingbird Cabins never disappoint. Always enjoy our trips to Ruidoso and knowing the cabin will be ready and waiting for us after 9 hours of driving is a plus. Has everything we can possibly need and more. Truly feels like home only tucked away in the mountains surrounded by mule deer and elk.

Great place and we will be back. We had a power outage that lasted 4 hrs when we arrived and the host and maintenance employees were very helpful and kept us informed on the ETR with power company. Thank you Mike

The Golden Pines cabin was perfect for our family getaway. The single level cabin was a good fit for my 93-year old mom and her walker. The bathrooms had grab bars and a seat in the shower for convenience if needed. The cabin was very clean and every possible need was met. All of the rooms were large with very thoughtful accessories. The kitchen was equipped with every possible utensil needed for meal prep. We loved the morning and evening visits from the deer. We ate every meal on the deck to watch for wildlife and enjoy the cool weather. Although located on a fairly busy street, the cabin was set back a way and seemed private. And our dog, Bocephus, loved having a fenced yard where he could do his thing. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a great vacation!

This was a third time staying at Golden Pine. Absolutely enjoyed it like the other three times. We will be returning again in 2022 for our annual family vacation. We also loved the fact that we got to check in earlier than 4 pm. We pleasantly pleased when we received the email that stated as a courtesy we were going to be able to check in early. :-) See you next year.

From the 2 fenced areas for our pets, to the openness and charm of the lovely cabin, we could not have been more pleased. Having not been to Ruidoso in sometime, we were happy with the close proximity to mid-towns shopping and restaurants. Knowing that many of the cabins have more than 1 level, we were happy to find this home with just the one, being perfect for our pets and our aging knees. The 2 bathrooms are spacious and beautiful, and the large, open kitchen was so well appointed, that I didn't need much of what I had brought along. The bed in the master was very comfortable and made up with nice quality linens. The gas fireplace, and the hot tub off the master bedroom deck we're both very nice touches. Needless to say, we will certainly check availability on this cabin first for our next visit to Ruidoso. Enjoyed the cabin, location and fenced yard for our furry babies - Great Dane and Staffshire terrier to roam freely but secure. We loved our stay! The home is spacious and had everything that we needed to cook meals, play games, watch movies and relax. The fenced in areas were perfect for our dogs and the 2 covered deck areas with fans were so nice to sit and watch the deer walking through the neighborhood. Communication was easy with Hummingbird Cabins and they answered all of our questions prior to arrival. The home is in a great location and close to shops and restaurants. We’ve stayed in many different locations in Ruidoso. We loved this one! We were disappointed to find out out that it is no longer available! It was so clean and close to town. Elk and deer were in the yard 2 of the 3 days we were there. Hope this home comes back on your website!??

The house was very nice, but that evening we went to shower and had no hot water! We waited a hou for a maintenance man then a hour for hot water. Also, there was no knob for the gas fireplace in the living room so the maintenance man said he would bring one back the next day! That never happened! The ice maker was broken. Other than those things we enjoyed our stay

Great Host! They definitely have a wonderful set up at the Golden Pines in Ruidoso. They are quick to respond during their business hours and worked it out for us to stay an extra night. Only thing is after hours it’s not as easy to reach them but have patience because they will take care of you and make your stay wonderful.

We were so pleased when we pulled up im Tyne drive the cabin is so cute! It is pet friendly and had 2 yards for our dogs!! When we walked in the cabin we were amazed at how beautiful the cabin was! We loved the open concept of the kitchen, dining and livingroom! The master bedroom was big and we enjoyed the fireplaces at night! The owner 2 bedrooms were nice as well! Both bathrooms were beautiful as well! We will definitely stay here again in the future! Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin!!

Beautiful place. A dream home as it may. Loved it! Everything was outstanding. Just a note on guest shower. While showering the bath tub seemed to be getting clogged and rose water while showering. Water eventually went down slowly. But served a little inconvenient since we were a few guest and nobody wants to walk in to sitting water in the tub. Other than that, everything was great. My wife and I would like to have enjoyed the hot tub. That was one of the reasons for choosing this cabin. The were no instructions that we could find to unlock the lock. Other than this issue we were pleased with the cabin and stay there again.

ery enjoyable and comfortable stay ? ? ? ? ? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the availability of Hummingbird hosts to answer any questions. The home had been recently remodeled and they did a excellent and beautiful job, Very homey and makes you feel welcome. We appreciated also the fenced in yard for our Shih-tzu who adjusted soon after we arrived. The covered porches and space for car proved valuable. Thanks again.

We stayed in Peaceful Place for a week… it wasn't’t long enough. The house was clean throughout, the kitchen was well stocked, including aluminum foil, plastic baggies, spices, napkins, you name it, it was there… We were very glad these things were provided too since we forgot to pack the box with all these items and more! by the way, the bed was very comfortable – we and I both slept like babies.We seen lots deer, chipmunks and birds that visited. We loved watching the hummers visit the Russian Sage out front. All in all, it was a very relaxing week at Peaceful place.
