Enjoy the views of Sierra Blanca from the private covered patio at Bluebird View! This cozy, 2-bedroom 1100 sq. ft. home features a gorgeous living area with a fireplace and seating for all. Bluebird View is close to the Ruidoso Downs racetrack, shopping, dining, and entertainment. Hardwood flooring throughout the home gives it a rustic, yet modern feel. Hot tub has an amazing view of Sierra Blanca from the front yard! Home does not have A/C; does have central heat and a gas fireplace.
Ruidoso, Alto, and surrounding areas: Submerse yourself within the towering pines of Lincoln County and watch local wildlife such as elk, deer, wild horses, turkey, birds, and more in their natural habitats. Plan a day basking in the stillness of our national forest while hiking, biking, or fishing, golfing at one of our multiple golf courses or spend a fun night out on the town at one of the area’s local attractions! Be sure to swim or fish at the beautiful Grindstone or Alto Lake, delight your senses at Winter Park with roller coaster and tubing, and explore the ski slopes and hiking trails throughout Ski Apache. Win big at one of our three local casinos and enjoy the excitement of live quarter horse racing at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack. Be happy you took a respite from the concrete jungle. Come relax and refresh with us!
Bedding: 1 King, 1 Queen
The fine print, what to expect: Our cabins include basic cable, satellite or streaming television, basic cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer (if applicable- please look at the amenities), towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. *Linens and bath towels *Extra blankets and bedding *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs. While our kitchens are fully equipped with glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, etc. this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, or condiments. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available. If not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only are: *One (1) travel sized each of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, and facial bar soap, *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom. Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable) are: *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom, *one (1) travel sized bar soap and/or facial soap, *one (1) hairdryer in the home. Basic supplies in the home: *five (5) All-Clear laundry pods, *dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited), and three (3) Lemi Shine rinse agent in single use cups (for homes with dishwashers), *liquid dish soap in (at minimum) a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers- check amenities to ensure the home you booked has a dishwasher), *two to three (2-3) rolls of paper towels, *two (2) trash liners in each waste basket; one (1) prepared in a basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under the sink. We encourage guests to please be mindful of the supplies we provide and always bring extras as housekeeping does not deliver more than what is required to be left in the homes. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood burning fireplaces.

By Cecilia, Posted: 04/09/2024Property had views that just took my breath away. The house was fantastic and exactly as described. We spent 80% of our time on the patio just staring at the mountain. It was so extremely peaceful and relaxing. The only thing that took some adjusting to was the bed in the main bedroom. We are spoiled with the most amazing mattress at home so had to adjust to that. Other than that, our stay was a 20/10!! Thank you for sharing this property with us.

Very clean & comfortable, Who doesn’t like a nice porch to relax on while enjoying the view of the Sierra Blanca Peak ! Fireplace kept us nice and comfortable when outside temps were in mid 30’s. Hot tub works great with an nice view , house is just a very short trip from Mid-Town . Highly recommended
By Eldon, Posted: 04/20/2023The hot-tub was great. the house itself was great but had not been cleaned properly in terms of floor, kitchen and dusting issues. Bed was great and bedding was clean. Renovation was great. The property manager responded quickly and supplied us with a new coffeemaker and had the house cleaners redo the floor. The pool guy did a great job of keeping the hot-tub clean and refreshing. We definitely recommend this place.

From the moment you walk in, it is evident the hosts put a lot of care into maintaining and updating the property. There are homes around it, so it doesn't feel isolated or remote, but it is nestled on a spacious corner lot. It's also conveniently located to dining and shopping venues, and there's a partial view of the mountain through the trees. It boasts ample parking, a side balcony, a hot tub, and a large fenced yard that is perfect for families... and you don't need a 4x4 to get to it!

Beds were great, appliances worked well (and the switches were all labeled so we didn't have to guess which switch went to what). The hot tub was the cherry on top of everything, and allowed us to finish off every evening with a private relaxing soak under the beautiful starry skies. We will definitely return!
