Three moms took a weekend away and absolutely loved this house! We played Mah Jongg on the deck enjoying the beautiful view. On Saturday we went into town and did a Paint & Sip and had dinner at the Texas Club. It was such a relaxing weekend and we will definitely be reserving this property again next year!

* The Mountain View is amazing * Hot tub was fabulous * Fireplace was wonderful * Beds comfortable but need more bedding * Kitchen was adequately stocked with spices, dishes and utensils * Showers were good * The cabin feels clean so that's a big ++ - Needs smart tv so guests can stream their own devices - Need better instructions on fireplace lighting. We had to ask for help in the beginning.

The views were so amazing loved the hot tub on the balcony overlooking the mountains. Great cozy place to stay and was very spacious. Very clean loved the spare toothbrush and hot tub towels available.

Wonderful views of Sierra Blanca from most of the house. Livable, spacious, and comfortable place to relax and pretty central to getting anywhere in the village or other spots: Alto, Cloudcroft, IOTMG, wine tasting, shopping, as well as sight seeing and hiking spots in the area. We read other reviews of possibly problematic cookware but did not find this to be an issue. Did use the hot tub a couple of times and found it wonderful at the end of an active day. Comfortable bed, ceiling fans in all bed rooms and living area. VERY quiet neighborhood with deer, elk, wild turkey, and lots of other birds. Perfect place for much needed R & R!

We enjoyed our 4 day stay. Great location. Clean place. It snowed and froze while we were there. Loved it but the drive way is quite steep and made it difficult for two drive to get out even after snow was removed.

Let me begin by saying that the views from the deck are breathtaking and the best feature of this property. With that in mind, the deck was lacking. With a view like that you want to spend a lot of time outside enjoying it, but you couldn't do that because the metal chairs had no cushions and became uncomfortable to sit in after long periods of time. The two wooden lounge chairs did have cushions, but they were chewed up from animals and about ready to fall apart due to age. The most disappointing issue was the condition of the hot tub. While the hot tub did work, not all the jets were functional and the head cushions were missing. The wooden siding of the hot tub that was still there was in horrible condition but not nearly as bad as the cover. The cover was almost unusable, it had tears, exposed Styrofoam, and was in such disarray that we thought the tub was not going to be operational. In the interest of full disclosure, the inside of the tub was very clean, and full of hot water. It boggles my mind that the rest of the property would be so beautifully updated and maintained but the outside living area, the star feature of the house, would be so neglected.

What a great view!
If you’re looking for a beautiful view with peace and quiet this is your place. House was very comfortable with plenty of room. Lots of deer and hummingbirds to entertain you.House had everything we needed including spices. Regular coffee pot worked well but no kcup. Great grill and hot tub. Would like to see the outdoor covers and cushions to be replaced but overall a wonderful place to stay! Will book there again next year.
