Nestled in the whispering pines of Ruidoso. Beautiful 2 bedroom 21/2 bath beauty. The neighborhood was quiet, cool and clean. Watch the hummingbirds on the balcony, See the occasional deer strolling by as well as turkeys. As an added bonus, hear the Elk bugling in the canyons. Great experience, great location.

Our stay at Eagle Rest was everything I imagined it would be. The house is nestled in the trees, giving it a warm and cozy feeling. I have to say we fell in love with the town of Ruidoso. Its charming and welcoming. I would consider moving there. The last thing I would like to add is the way the owners handled our misfortune. On our way back from our day trip from Santa Fe a woman passed her stop sign and we were not able to avoid her. My car was totaled but we were all okay but stranded in Moriarty. The owners were not only understanding but also arranged for us to stay another night to recover at a extremely reasonable cost. I can not say enough about what a big deal that was for us. So If the owner of Eagles Rest reads this.. Thank you Sooo very much, Sooo. We loved your beautiful home

My wife and I had a really nice relaxing vacation. We spent time on most days just sitting on the back deck soaking in the views and the sounds and sights of birds flittering from tree to tree. It was very peaceful and beautiful! The town and surrounding areas were very nice as well. The restaurants we went to had good food. Overall it was one of our top vacations. We will be returning!

We were very pleased with this cabin. The bed was probably the best we have had. Location can be a little difficult but beautiful. Had snowed prior to our arrival and fortunately we had a 4 wheel drive pickup or would have been in a mess. Staff was awesome. We left a small bag behind, they recovered it and returned by mail. Very nice home, loved the decorations, very clean, well-stocked in kitchen, watched some of the good movies on dvd, listened to music and sat out on the deck a lot and watched the elk mama & baby, turkeys fly up in trees in the evening to sleep, hummingbirds drink & Tom turkeys on driveway. Wouldn't change a thing except the steep curve to home.

From start to finish top of the mountain service. Beautiful house in the tree tops. Clean, well supplied lodging. Did not want to leave. We will be back. Oh yes, there was a double rainbow to cheer us as we were preparing to leave.

The cabin is beautiful. Views are outstanding. Sitting on the deck we saw deer and turkey as well as great mountain views. The sound of the breeze whistling through the pine trees as well as the pine smells are extremely relaxing. This has been our favorite cabin we have stayed in at Ruidoso. Will book again.

Wonderful. Don't let photo of modest outside appearance fool you. Great place and beautiful interior in beautiful mountain location. Road has steep parts and in one direction is unpaved. Have the right vehicle and tires if their in winter months. Slid off road and got got vehicle stuck while leaving after checkout with unexpected snow. (No fault of property, my fault, just be prepared.

We enjoyed 5 nights at this very comfortable, well-appointed home. The kitchen is great, perfect for cooking and socializing (dining space is adjacent). The beds are sublime—very comfortable, high quality mattresses w cozy duvets. Great nature-show from back porch: deer and wild turkeys, the mountain view—just lovely. Do not pass up the opportunity to stay at Eagles Rest. Beautiful, extra clean cabin surrounded by beautiful scenery. Every morning and evening, we had deer and turkey come by to graze. The decks and views are awesome and peaceful. We absolutely hated to leave. We highly recommend this rental

Incredibly clean, quiet, and perfect for our family. Very close to downtown Ruidoso and restaurants/shops. Deer grazed in the backyard every evening. We will definitely be back!

This home has pretty views of trees and mountains from both decks which is why we were so surprised to see only uncomfortable plastic chairs available to sit on when the view begs you to stay for hours . This oversight is the primary reason for not getting 5 star. We came to enjoy Ruidoso while at the cabin - we need to be able to do that comfortably! Thought was put into the appointments and stocking of the home right down to pods for the washing machine! Furnishings are updated and do not look like they came from a garage sale. Gives an upscale feel. Master suite has a great bathroom with walk in shower and good water pressure- a must for a good shower. Water gets nice and got. Showers were a real treat. Only other negative is the master suite is Roku only. So if your idea of winding down at night in bed is catching favorite shows or watching the news.. you are out of luck unless you want to sit upstairs on the couch. May seem like a small item but bedtime TV watching is kinda an American staple. We had a few bumps in our stay - nothing game changing but the property management company was very responsive and easy to work with! 5 stars for them. We come to Ruidoso 2x a year over past 14 years and so we know what is out there! Good pricing on this home and very nice place to stay. Add patio furniture that is sit worthy and consider stepping beyond master suite Roku and you have an easy 5 star. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Enjoyed our house a lot. Had everything we needed and was pretty and comfortable. The internet did not work great and the dvd downstairs did not work at all. But, all in all a lovely time at Eagle’s Rest.

The place was as pics showed. Not disappointed! Close to town but in the mountains-perfect. We especially enjoyed the wildlife that seemed to be everywhere, mule deer and wild turkeys-also some elk! I would stay here again! View of Sierra Blanca was terrific!

I’m a tough grader and I’d give Eagles Rest a 4.8/5. It’s a gorgeous spot filled with plenty of wildlife. Only problems I encountered were that utensils (spoons) needed to be restocked, a large frying pan was super warped, and leather couches weren’t super comfy. Otherwise everything else was spot on! I highly recommend a stay at Eagles Rest Ruidoso cabin!

The home was even more beautiful than the pictures. That was a first for me. Both king beds were VERY comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were plenty of blankets and towels. I can't say enough good thinks about this experience. My only suggestion is to drive a 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicle if snow is expected.
