This property is cozy and came with all the comforts to enjoy a week in Alto. We watched wild horses, elk and turkey all while sipping coffee on the front porch. The fire place and extra blankets made for a great back drop to play cards, laugh and enjoy all our people. All of the beds were VERY comfortable, and CLEAN! Excellent views in a great little neighborhood. Close to ski Apache, and all the other fun attactions. We would totally stay again.

I have stayed here twice. Its lovely. We had wild turkeys in the back yard and wild horses across the street. Very clean property.

This was a very nice place. It was incredibly clean, and well stocked with everything that you might need. The hot tub was clean and ready to enjoy. There was elk right out front every morning and you could hear them bugling in the distance in the evening. It was exactly as advertised and I couldn't have been more pleased.

Had an awesome stay would recommend anybody who would like to just get away to a peaceful place . Had everything we needed and accommodating , only thing I would recommend is to leave lights on outside if getting there when sun goes down other than that was it was great.

This was a really nice cabin! It's only about 15 min from downtown and right by the winter park and ski Apache. The inside is a lot more cozy and comfy than the pics so that was a plus because it already looked nice! The hot tub was great and comfy. They have lots of spices, pans, and small things you may need like foil, plates, etc. the driveway is a little tricky (maybe just for us for being from Texas) but we figured it out. Love this place and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here for sure. To anyone who stays here in the future be very careful going down the steep section of driveway. In any weather the transition to the road could damage your vehicle depending on ride height. 2020 GMC Sierra we have did scrape the cowl and I saw damage from previous guests on the road that left some serious gouges. Alternatively we backed up the not so steep driveway section to make for an easy departure. There is room to maybe make the turnaround in a car but i didn’t try in the truck. Just a heads up. But no complaints whatsoever on our stay, everything was as described and we will definitely look to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The front deck has a nice view and we were lucky to see elk on several mornings. The deer visited us while we hung out in the hot tub as well! The house is well stocked with all necessities. We had a wonderful time!

It was a great stay! The cabin was perfect. Very cozy and homey. The only thing to maybe know is the driveway can be really steep! So maybe try to bring a higher vehicle if you can! We saw tons of deer and elk from the front patio and loved every minute of it!

Very clean. one of the larger double glassed windows that gazes out to the mountains has developed leakage and had constant condensation which obstructed the views from the inside.

This place was beautiful it was nice and clean the cabin was in a great location the views were amazing we saw a heard of deer or something lol but the hot tub was great a little tricky if you don't know how to turn one on but overall it was a great experience it was also 20 min drive from Smokey they bear museum just great

Was a very nice property. We all enjoyed our stay. The only thing we'd recommend is getting some sort of window coverings for the West wall dining window & living room window. Huge wi does are great for a scenic view. But not great for bright direct sunshine mid-morning and afternoon while eating at table or sitting in living room. The one living room window faced the street if incoming traffic. With no covering at all. Was kinda strange. And the windows didn't seem to be that energy efficient . Was kinda cool in there, unless fireplace was going. Over all a nice stay. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you for a very pleasant stay! We used the home as a central base while we showed the state to our grand kids. We toured New Mexico from Carlsbad Caverns to Four Corners. Each of the five grandchildren liked a different location best. One loved the horseback riding at Grinder Stables, another preferred Four Corners with all the Naive Americans and their jewelry and souvenirs. The youngest (6 y.o.) liked White Sands best. The cabin's owners have a wonderful home with a great location and it's beautifully furnished. We saw deer and elk in the forest and meadows around the home. Never even turned on the electronic entertainments nor the hot tub. The only thing to find fault with was the BBQ grill had to be cleaned before we could use it. I made sure the next occupants won't have that problem. The washer/dryer, being somewhat small was used daily. We would definitely return if we're visiting NM again.

Home was just as pictured. The check in process was easy and the host allowed us to check in a few minutes early as we arrived before expected. The place is worth the money just for the beautiful views. Our first morning we encountered a family of deer going down the hill which we were able to admire through the big windows on the property. This was definitely the highlight of our trip!
