The fine print, what to expect: Our cabins include basic cable, satellite or streaming television, basic cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer (if applicable- please look at the amenities), towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. *Linens and bath towels *Extra blankets and bedding *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs. While our kitchens are fully equipped with glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, etc. this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, or condiments. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available. If not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only are: *One (1) travel-sized each of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, and facial bar soap, *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom. Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable) are: *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom, *one (1) travel-sized bar soap and/or facial soap, *one (1) hairdryer in the home. Basic supplies in the home: *five (5) All-Clear laundry pods, *dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited), and three (3) Lemi Shine rinse agent in single-use cups (for homes with dishwashers), *liquid dish soap in (at minimum) a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers- check amenities to ensure the home you booked has a dishwasher), *two to three (2-3) rolls of paper towels, *two (2) trash liners in each waste basket; one (1) prepared in a basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under the sink. We encourage guests to please be mindful of the supplies we provide and always bring extras as housekeeping does not deliver more than what is required to be left in the homes. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood burning fireplaces.

By Amanda, Posted: 03/13/2026The views are amazing. The beds are comfortable, and the lines and towels were very clean. The crockpot has a crack and needs to be replaced, but we were able to do our cooking with what they had to offer. Great cabin. We will stay with Hummingbird again
By Pedro, Posted: 01/11/2026The stay was very complete; they do not have wood for the fireplaces, so you have to get it yourself. The rooms are quite spacious, and the kitchen area is very good. The grill was a little deteriorated, and the utensils for its use deteriorated. It also had gas for its use, and the bathrooms were very clean. Overall the stay was very good and satisfactory; there were 12 of us and we enjoyed it. we all had a bed to sleep in.

The house was updated and modern, which made it a neat place for a vacation at an affordable price. The house had everything we needed to cook/feed, and entertain the crew, including games for kids and adults alike! Management has exceptional communication with timely and thorough responses. We (especially the kids) loved seeing the wild horses and elk in the neighborhood as well. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. And it was only about 8 minutes from the cute shops of Ruidoso. My family and I enjoyed it so much!

Our grandchildren enjoyed the game room downstairs after busy days of exploring the area. The cabin was easy to find and while out of town, was close enough for a quick trip to Riudoso shops and markets. We enjoyed the Mountain View's from the deck and would highly recommend this place to families!

Wonderful time in a terrific mountain cabin in the pines. Amazing being surrounded by nature and wildlife. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful while also enjoying the surrounding area of Ruidoso shopping and fun things for kids of all ages.

Cabin was beautiful and well taken care of. The atmosphere was amazing from all the local wild life that frequented the yard to the wild horses that visited several times while we were there. Close to town for all that you can want to do, but up amongst the trees for that wonderful relaxing feeling. Quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back!!!

The week we Spent here was amazing, the house was beautiful the kids loved the downstairs and the outside area. It had everything we needed to rest, relax, and enjoy our family time. Can't wait to book this cabin again in the near future. Loved that the wild horses came right into the yard.

Had an amazing trip! The house was amazing the amenities were great! The decor is my style, definitely felt like home being there for a week. Will definitely be coming back in the future. There was shopping downtown and several activities for families and kids to take part in.

Close to ski Apache. the windows are everything giving the best views. The host was very friendly and fast at responding. We ran out of propane in the middle of a cookout and we got a refill within minutes! Definitely would come back to this cabin.
