The area is lovely and quiet. We came just to get away from everything. Kinda wish the TV was bigger in the living room or at least had one in the bedroom. We binged watched our favorite show while we were there. We loved this place and we will be back!

From the outside, this property does seem like a cabin. But once you open the front door, it's actually a beautiful, well-designed home, full of light. Super-clean and full of amenities. Deer and elk right in the yard! 2nd stay here and will definitely stay again.

We rented this cabin for our two-night stay and could not have been more pleased. Location, amenities, tranquility, cleanliness, furnishings ... all were absolutely perfect. Never did we imagine a location as close to town yet with a remote feel to it. We loved our stay and will certainly refer friends as well as return as soon as possible.

This is a wonderful getaway property near town but up in the trees and the cool temperatures. A quiet and peaceful location but only 5 mins from town, grocery stores, restaurants etc. and 15 mins from the Racetrack. Clean and comfortable property with easy check in and out and everything you might need including luxuries like a hot tub. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others.

Tucked Away cabin was a perfect fit for us. We are an older couple, so having 2 master bedrooms on one floor was a perfect way to have family come stay with us. The Oct weather in Ruidoso was quite mild. The race track in Ruidoso is only open Memorial day thru Labor day, so we were a little disappointed in not getting to experience the race track action. We did not have internet access during our 5 day visit due to some major work being completed behind our cabin to correct a drainage problem in the area. The management company did agree to reimburse us $25 a day for the inconvenience. All in all it was a terrific vacation.

We noticed good and bad reviews of Hummingbird Cabins so were feeling a little weary prior to booking. However, we also saw a lot of them were REALLY over the top complaints (like the hummingbird feeders were empty) so decided to take a chance and we're so glad we did. Our cabin was super clean and comfortable. We loved all the wildlife and enjoyed the hot tub. We followed Google Maps instead of looking at the directions though and it took us straight into terrible construction. Since I knew there was no mention of it, when I did review the directions I saw the other way that helped us avoid it, thank goodness! You might mention that though, just to reassure anyone. Thanks for a great stay in Ruidoso!

The property is in a nice location for exploring Ruidoso and has a great roomy floorplan. The back deck with hot tub was terrific and the dining area has so many windows that it was perfect for still being able to enjoy the nature while it rained. A few updates would greatly improved this property: replace shower curtains, replace king bed-very soft and worn; general dusting/replace old decorative items.

Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed the cabin and wish we could have stayed longer. The beds are very comfortable. We did not get a chance to enjoy the hot tub, but sitting out on the decks in the morning was relaxing and the back area was very secluded. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. The cabin was great! It's not as secluded as we were hoping but it was a very quiet neighborhood, never heard anyone. We were able to watch deer in the woods right in the back yard from the back porch. The hot tub was very relaxing. The only thing I would ding this property on is the master bed was way too soft for us. You sank into where you were laying.

This was a beautiful property. We spent the weekend kid free with our sister and her husband. We weren't able to use the hot tub so I can't rate that but it was a great property with no problems. Beds were so comfortable and the gas fireplace was amazing. We were gone mostly but the time we were at the cabin it was beautiful views and plenty of space.

This place was just as it was described in the advertisement. The cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of household amenities. We only cooked breakfast, but the kitchen was well stocked to prepare any daily meal. Lucky for us the roads were good and clear, however if the weather would have been bad the drive may have been a little more adventurous, especially for those of us coming from the city. The hot tub was clean and the temperature was just right, especially for a cold evening which made it really refreshing. The furniture throughout was nice and comfortable, from the sofa to the beds and the hot water never turned cold at any time throughout our stay. Having the convenience of a washer and dryer made the preparation to leave much simpler by being able to tackle any laundry prior to leaving giving you one less thing to do when you return home. This place was right on point. The only issue experienced during this stay was an annoying spot on the television; although not huge, it was just enough of a deterrence to interfere with watching the NFL playoff games. I will definitely rent this cabin again.

We stayed at Tucked Away Cabin for a weekend of R&R and Ruidoso Down’s Racing. The cabin was very nice. The interior was clean and had everything we could want. We enjoyed the back porch which offered privacy and peaceful evenings with wildlife (and the hot tub!). The AC didn’t cool well, but that didn’t affect us as we were gone during the day and it was pretty cool mornings and night. We didn’t even notify the management until after we left Monday morning since it wasn’t a big deal. However we didn’t receive a response so I don’t know if they addressed the issue or not. The only other thing that could be better is the back porch and patio furniture was kind of dirty. Nothing that a good sweep and quick wipe off didn’t fix. Overall it was great for our needs and we enjoyed it!

We stayed on the Tucked Away cabin for two nights in June. Great location for us, cabin was immaculate. Entire family enjoyed the trip. My only negative comment is that we left messages for the Realtor affiliated with Hummingbird Cabins, and never had any response. Thanks!
