Fabulous! The house was perfect for us. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom-heaven!!! The kitchen was well supplied (maybe a few more plates) , 2 great tables to work at, eat and play games at. Wonderful area to walk around. Not super easy to get to town, but not far. We had food and drinks and never had to leave! Highly recommend!!

The Texas Gambler was everything that was advertised. All the bedrooms were very spacious & bathrooms were great. The living area and kitchen had everything you need. The back patio is where we spent most of our time. It’s stunning and the wildlife was abundant! You won't be disappointed by staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 4 bedrooms with bathrooms, kitchen, living area, deck and grill was perfect for our group. We saw deer, elk, and turkeys almost every day. We will be back to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house.

The property was perfect for our family (3 couples and a single). Everyone had their own space to relax and the view from the back porch was wonderful. Added benefit was the evening visits by the deer and elk!

The house and location were perfect for what we were wanting for our weekend stay. The surroundings are very quiet and the drive into town only takes a few minutes. The set-up of the house is nice in that there is a large family and dining area and also private bedrooms and bathrooms. We would stay again on our next trip to Ruidoso

Great place to stay with family. Loved that each bedroom had private bathroom. The kitchen was well set up and we had almost everything in regards to cooking utensil they we needed. Living room comfortable and loved the back deck.

Location is great! We loved the distribution of the house and that every room had an attached bathroom. The open concept of the living area was awesome too! Some linens felt wont out like most of Ruidoso homes. Host was attentive and answered quickly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and felt really comfortable as a family of 8 adults, 3 small children and 2 dogs!

We enjoyed our stay. The open floor plan was great for our son that uses a wheelchair. There was enough room for everyone to spread out and having 4 bedrooms and 4 baths was a great benefit for everyone.

Great property and location. In town for the horse races with family and friends. Wildlife viewing was awesome. Watched the fireworks from Inn of the Mountain Gods from rear deck. Would definitely consider staying again.

Very nice place with great amenities. Cane was out and there were issues with a few lights but there had been thunderstorms so I'm sure they will fix the issues immediately.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The home was beautiful, very big, and had great views. We were able to see deer and wild turkeys roaming in the morning and at night. My family loved our stay and can’t wait to book this home again for our next vacation!

Hanging at this home was a perfect way to hang out and celebrate my father n laws 70th birthday. We had about 15 guests during the day and it was very comfortable. It has an awesome view and we saw a lot of deer and some elk. We had a couple small dogs and the fenced in yard was perfect for letting them out without concerns of them getting out. We want to stay there again!

We all had a wonderful time. Close to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are good size and comfortable. We will keep this property in mind next time we want to getaway from the heat. A few minor recommendations. The owner should consider replacing the lounge chair and a good professional carpet cleaning. The outdoor could use a good cleaning plus a good dusting indoors. Maintenance please check the back patio screen door. It gets stuck. All these are minor observations on what it is a beautiful home. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

We had a great time and the house was wonderful. We had to contact the company about two problems that were handled quickly and efficiently. The personnel that responded to our problem were so efficient and pleasant. Everything was great.

The property was absolutely beautiful! We had to book this property last minute because we had to cancel our reservation with another agent(Lavish Retreat) due to their house not being clean when we arrived which made us change our plans & ask for a refund! After reserving this beautiful property The Hummingbird Cabin team was very helpful and made our check in to this property so easy. The house was very clean with plenty of space for our family. The boys loved all the deer that were usually all around the property & we also saw some foxes. Beautiful views, quiet & perfect for very much needed relaxing time. We are definitely looking forward to coming back!

Overall it was a great place to stay. The 4 bathrooms were perfect. Kitchen was well equipped. Map in the VRBO website is incorrect and diverted us to a dirt road 20 mins away from the actual location. It's a beautiful and huge home and could have used notes on which light switch turned on what light or fan. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place.

This house is wonderful!! My family loved it. With 4 nice size bedrooms and 4 full baths, everyone had what they needed and space to spread out. The open concept kitchen and living area made meal prep a breeze. The abundance of windows made you feel like you were outside even when lounging in the living area. The large deck on the back is perfect for grilling out and enjoying the hummingbirds, trees, and many deer that will visit. We have stayed in many VRBO houses on our travels, and this one so far is the very best. They even accommodated our dachshunds wonderfully. They provided a dog bed, dog toys, and a nice big bowl of water on the back deck. Clearly, the owners and managers of the Texas Gambler home pay attention to every little detail to ensure your visit will be amazing. Will definitely hope to get to stay here again and enjoy Ruidoso and the area. Thank you.
