Welcome to Silver Spur Lodge, where every season brings a new adventure! This beautiful four-bedroom, two-full and two-half-bath lodge is the perfect sanctuary after a day on the snow or trails. Step onto the back deck to unwind in the hot tub or fire up the propane BBQ grill while soaking in the stunning mountain and valley views from the various balconies, especially the master suite on the third floor.
The private master suite is a true highlight, featuring an en-suite bathroom that’s nothing short of luxurious. Enjoy the comfort of a mini wet bar and a cozy seating area, complete with a gas fireplace that separates the bedroom from the bathroom, creating an intimate retreat.
On the main level, gather in the fully equipped kitchen to prepare a hearty meal that will fuel your group for another day of exploration. The main living room, adorned with high ceilings and generous windows, boasts a pellet stove fireplace—a perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. If you prefer the outdoors, step outside for a refreshing walk or head to the nearby ski area or golf course.
Silver Spur Lodge beautifully blends modern design with a touch of western flair. The open floor plan on the main level encompasses a grand living room, dining room, and laundry room, all thoughtfully designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Enjoy contemporary touches like a tufted chaise lounge and a stone-topped coffee table, balanced by warm-toned rugs and rich wood paneling in the kitchen.
The main level also features two additional bedrooms and a spacious bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. On the entry level, you’ll find a fourth bedroom with an en-suite half bathroom, as well as a fun game area with a ping pong table—perfect for friendly competitions or casual card games. Enjoy central AC and heating for your comfort year-round.

Plan a day basking in the stillness of our national forest while hiking, biking, or fishing, golfing at one of our multiple golf courses or spend a fun night out on the town at one of the area’s local attractions! Be sure to swim or fish at the beautiful Grindstone or Alto Lake, delight your senses at Winter Park with roller coaster and tubing, and explore the ski slopes and hiking trails throughout Ski Apache. Win big at one of our three local casinos and enjoy the excitement of live quarter horse racing at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack. Be happy you took a respite from the concrete jungle. The fine print, what to expect: Our cabins include basic cable, satellite or streaming television, basic cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer (if applicable- please look at the amenities), towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. *Linens and bath towels *Extra blankets and bedding *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs. While our kitchens are fully equipped with glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, etc. this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, or condiments. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available. If not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only are: *One (1) travel-sized each of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, disposable toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, and facial bar soap, *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom. Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable) are: *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom, *one (1) travel-sized bar soap and/or facial soap, *one (1) hairdryer in the home. Basic supplies in the home: *five (5) All-Clear laundry pods, *dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited), and three (3) Lemi Shine rinse agent in single-use cups (for homes with dishwashers), *liquid dish soap in (at minimum) a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers- check amenities to ensure the home you booked has a dishwasher), *two to three (2-3) rolls of paper towels, *two (2) trash liners in each waste basket; one (1) prepared in a basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under the sink. We encourage guests to please be mindful of the supplies we provide and always bring extras as housekeeping does not deliver more than what is required to be left in the homes. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood burning fireplaces.

By John, Posted: 12/22/2025The cabin was better than expected, and the surroundings were a 10. My recommendation is to ensure that the WiFi is working properly, especially if you work remotely. I felt the cleaning services should have been on top to the property better it’s a million dollar house and dust was prevalent and the linen had a dusty smell . But I would stay there again. đ

The master bathroom looked odd in the pictures, and I can confirm that there is no door leading into the master bathroom from the master bedroom. Someone lying on the bed has a full view of everything going on in the bathroom. Additionally, the master shower has a window with no tint or blinds looking out over the rear deck. This deck has ground access from the spiral staircase. Overall, the house was excellent. Plenty of room for our family of 7. With a little communication, the lack of privacy in the bathroom is manageable. Plan for this and you will enjoy this cabin.
