The bedding is set up for hunting groups, church retreats, corporate and family getaways with room for all. Master suite is king bed with master bath and two large closets.Three downstairs guest bedrooms have bunk beds, guest bath off hallway, and fifth bedroom has futon. Upstairs guest room features kitchenette and an additional three bunk beds. This spacious property allows you to rest and relax viewing the deer and elk that frequent the stock tank in the front yard. View of valley includes the antique barn, antique work truck and windmill. Cozy up in the spacious living room to the wood burning fireplace. Owner is an avid hunter and has game inspired decor, antlers, and ample hunting reading material available for guests to enjoy. Plan your day basking in the stillness of our national forest while hiking, biking or fishing. Grab your clubs and spend the day at one of our multiple golf courses; you will be happy you took a respite from the concrete jungle.
Cabin includes basic cable or satellite television, coffee pot or K-cup, cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer, towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. We encourage guests be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months.

Perfect for big families or groups. Secluded, but only 15 minute from downtown. Our group cooked all our meals. Extra refrigerator helped. The stove was a little out dated and hard to use. Other than that, this place was great!

Also, the house had so many things from a kitchen perspective (cooking items) and this made it very helpful. Plus having 3 refrigerators in the house was very helpful with our large group. We were so very excited when we had a little snow while on this trip and it made our time in Ruidoso all the more special. I highly recommend Hummingbird Cabin's and this location, especially if you have a larger group!!! Well Done and I give it 5 STARS!!!

We were a ladies' soccer team & enjoyed our own beds, the roomy spaces, the hot tub with deer passing by, and the remoteness of the cabin. The GPS was not completely accurate so follow recommended instructions. We also had a 3 legged dog visit who was quite friendly, several stellar jays & woodpeckers, and a herd of over 30 elk passing thru the neighborhood. The house is close to downtown, casino, restaurants; a few minutes drive.
