Cozy cabin with the perfect view of Ruidoso

Great house, everything was just as presented. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/untensils/baking dishes/bowls/dinnerware etc....didnt need anything. Grill is well seasoned and knocked out great steaks. View and deck amazing. master bed needs to be replaced - its junk, the hump in middle is awful. I wont go back until thats replaced. Other reviews mentioned it, we were hoping this was dealt with......the sponge pad sucks - anyway, y'all get the message Other than that, its an amazing place, i grew up in the Tahoe area, ruidoso is amazing and its own stunning mountains are a pleasure.

This place will be my go-to for any Ruidoso trips. A couple minor things that are easy fixes--the garbage disposal was not working and the kitchen sink stunk and the dining room needs a lamp so there's better lighting in the evenings. The views cannot be beat. Location was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful house!!

This property was dreamy. The view out of the terrace was astonishing, the little twin beds above the kitchen were adorable, and the deer visiting each morning made the entire experience feel like a dream. We were able to share the cabin with friends and our kids made many wonderful memories.

What a Jewel !
At first all we could was see the construction going on at the house next door, well it turned out not being an issue. As retired Airline Employees we have enjoyed great and some not so great accommodations in many countries Grande Vista is excellent, the view is amazing but many places offer this. What makes Grande Vista so special for us is the wonderful retreat created for it’s guests Beds are incredible comfy, kitchen well stocked, furnished so tasteful with upgraded bedding’s also spotless, Had it not been reserved we would of definitely stayed for more days My regards to Owners and hummingbird Cabin's for a great time in this lovely home

We had a wonderful stay at the Grande Vista. The views from the deck were amazing and the cabin was extremely comfortable. It was a wonderful place to get some work done while enjoying the wonderful weather. This was one of the best cabin rentals that we have ever stayed at, and we cannot wait to return!

The house is in a great location . Only a few minutes from hiking , shopping and restaurants . The house is not as remote as the pictures suggest , however the location was very peaceful and we saw deer and horses in the neighborhood . I would stay here again !

We absolutely loved the view from the deck! The AC worked very well, keeping the house cool. We didn’t do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed very well equipped if we had chosen to do so. The house was very clean, comfortable, and inviting. We loved the property and will definitely keep it in mind for the future!!

One of the propane tanks was empty, but we were still able to get what we needed! Overall, we had a great time! Note from Hummingbird Cabins: we provide the propane. Just contact and we bring over replacement bottles. Happy to hear you had a nice time!

Good communication, amazing view, close to everything, quiet, clean, comfortable furniture and beds. A bit challenging to keep indoor temperature where we wanted it to be. Deer, elk! Loved our stay.

The view was amazing! We wish we would have been able to enjoy the deck more but Ruidoso was soooo windy! The spot was great and had what we needed. Wish there was a hairdryer. All in all was a perfect place to stay. Only downfall is in the summer it is difficult to cool living room due to big windows. Otherwise is 10+

Great morning view of the mountain. My 4yr old started calling it “TV Mountain” because it was so picturesque. The deck had locks on all gates so that was nice. Master bed was really high but very soft and comfortable. Pillows were firm. Rooms were really dark so bring nightlight for kids. Neighbors are far enough away for privacy. Grill has propane and charcoal option which was nice.

Lovely place, like the pictures on the website. All the bedrooms are very cozy and comfortable. It was clean, the kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, cleaning supplies, trash bags. The patio is awesome. Great views! Wonderful stay.

The cabin is exactly as described. We stayed 3 days and it snowed about 10-12 inches. We loved our stay! Will stay again in our next visit. During Winter weather, please make sure you have AWD and/or chains. The roads can be tricky and slick. This cabin was spotless, very clean.

Can’t say enough great things about this place! We loved everything about this house from start to finish. Had the best view of the mountains, loved seeing all the deer coming near the house. Great location also. If you’re looking for that perfect vacation house this is definitely it!! If we go back this is where we’re staying again!!

This stay is everything you need when visiting Ruidoso, NM. It is close to the shops, restaurants, gas stations, grocery store and is an amazing home with a beautiful view. It was everything and more… the view, the cleanness of the place, it was overall super cozy ! Everything was fully furnished, came with extra blankets etc., I would highly recommend this stay to others and plan to visit again !!

This is our favorite place to stay in Ruidoso! The views are always amazing and this time there were deer in the front yard and through out the neighborhood. Always clean and comfortable beds. Very convenient to everything too! This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful home! Amazing views from a nice large deck. Very clean and comfortable beds and furnishings. This was my favorite place to stay in Ruidoso so far. AC was wonderful, very cool and comfortable the entire time (it was above 80 during our stay). I would love to stay again on our next trip!
