I loved the house ! It was also super clean when we arrived . We had a family Death in the family so we had to reschedule our check in date . They were very accommodating to me and my family . I would definitely recommend to a friend !

Comfortable home had everything we needed for a the week of relaxing. WiFi access allowed me to check in on work while enjoying the Fresh mountain air. Quick walk to the lake and 5 minutes to mid town. Loved it.

This cabin was very well kept and clean. Plenty of room for 6 adults. The hot tub buttons were pretty worn and hard to read but we got it figured out without much issue.

Great amenities. Hot tub is nice. Clean place. Good location. They respond fairly quick. Washer and dryer. All the kitchen accessories. Only thing I would have to say negatively was that they charged an extra night because we physically couldn’t leave the property due to a winter storm. Other than that, good place

We loved this house so much! The hot tub was great, huge master closet was the perfect place for our baby to sleep, and the recliners were dreamy. The fireplace wasn't working, which was the only bummer for us. Other than that, we would recommend this again and again!

We had a great time and would stay again. Next time we know to make reservations for the Lake nearby as they only accept reservations. I am assuming this is due to Covid 19. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

The house was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. Besides a Karen neighbor the whole experience staying here was great. Could get hot in the house but with the cool weather nothing opening the doors and windows couldn't fix.

We had a great time and loved the house. However, house needs a deep cleaning....baseboards, dusting, cobwebs removal, bleaching of shower. It's not filthy, just needs to have that done. Everything else was great.

This home was great for a few nights stay. The internet password didn't work and was tried many times by several different people. The hot tub was at 86 degrees and didn't ever warm higher than that no matter what we set it at. Otherwise it was great, The open concept was great to be able to enjoy family time together even while cooking, We did only have toilet paper in 1 bathroom and no overstock in either bathroom.

Four of us rode our motorcycles over from Tucson for a weekend getaway and were very please with our stay. The house is walking distance to midtown for groceries, shops, & restaurants, just be ready for an uphill walk back to the house -- great workout! The hot tub out on the deck really helped loosen up our muscles after the long ride over and the walk back from dinner. Fireplace was a wonderful nightcap spot and the kitchen/dining rooms have more space than we could ever use -- a family or large groups would have no issues here. Communicating with the management team was easy and fast and the check-in/out process is a breeze. We rated 4 stars instead of 5 because the master shower had some pressure issues, the guest shower drained slowly, and like other reviews state there are some carpet stains throughout. We let the management company know and they are passing it along to the maintenance folks. We plan to stay here again over the summer on our next trip. One note for anyone else on a motorcycle: the driveway has a pretty decent incline so newer riders may have difficulty getting in/out but don't let it stop you if you're a confident rider!

overall we did enjoy our stay. However, we did not have access to the driveway or front entryway at all as no one had checked to see if the snow had been cleared. We had to park elsewhere, and trek through 2-3 feet of snow to access any door to enter, there were pretty significant cobwebs in the bedrooms, the heat hadn't been turned on do it was in the low 50's inside the c as nun when we arrived, the fireplace didn't work but maintenance came over that night to get it going, and there was no internet and we were told it had been out for a while but it was taking a long time for them to get it repaired. The date tics of the cabin were nice and it was open concept which facilitated family time. The location couldn't be beat and we did have a herd, yes a herd, of 15-20 deer on the front porch that allowed us to feed them. We have incredible pictures of that! Ultimately, it was the setting and location of the cabin that made it possible to give them 3 stars.

The fireplace wasn't working which was a bummer. We called maintenance and he was on other calls and didn't get around to it which I get I even offered for him to call me over the phone and walk my husband through it on the phone if need be. It's not a huge deal though. Also the sheets were rough... as in stained and falling off the bed constantly. We did love our stay and would definitely recommend to others those were just the couple things that I thought could have been improved upon. Thanks!!!

Low pressure on shower in master bath, commode in hall bath hung up occasionally, many carpet stains, would appreciate Fox News, better dusting on decor. Overall nice facility and will possibly stay again

All was great except we couldn’t find a small fry pan and had to purchase one, come to find out there was one in the dishwasher which STILL had dirty dishes in it!! They're still there. We also had a broken disposal which he came to fix. Other than that your home was beautiful!

Everything was great. I loved the house. We are planning many more trips because we do so much there in Ruidoso. The only thing I would change is the way you lock up the hot tub. I found it really hard to see the numbers on the lock and getting down on the floor was so hard for me. Other that everything was great!

We stayed at Aspen Retreat the last weekend in April. It was fantastic. The deck and the view were awesome. The house is close to town but you still feel secluded. Very nice place. The living room furniture is a little old but we did not spend a lot of time inside. I would go back to this place in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Aspen Retreat was great. Thanks to the owners for sharing it with us. Our family of 8 had ample room and the cabin was clean and well stocked. The deck is very roomy and the hot tub was great. Close to town with a secluded feel it’s not right next to any other cabins. Also has ample parking for more than one vehicle if needed. We did have a minor lighting and hot tub issue but 1 call and within minutes both problems were fixed. Marisol and the other ladies I talked with on the phone are very helpful and sincere before and during our stays. This was our second time using Hummingbird and we will use them again. One day we will find our home away from home but until then we will continue trying out their different cabins lol. Hope to see y’all in October. Thanks for y’all service.

We had a small family reunion there in Ruidoso on June 26-28. My family stayed at the Aspen Retreat and we found it delightful! All areas were clean, comfortable, and the pantry well stocked for the basic necessities. The living was large enough for us to cook a complete dinner and serve all our family there. We will definitely stay again and again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Just wanted to say what a great time my husband and I had staying at “Aspen Retreat”. The home was beautifully decorated, fully stocked, plenty of towels, cooking utensils (although we ate out mostly, at some of our favorite places in town). The home would be perfect for a group of 6, or 8 (if 2 wanted to sleep on the sofa-bed). It was just the two of us so we had plenty of room. We could not figure out how to turn the fireplace on – it did get pretty cold a couple of nights – even snowed in the mountains one night!. There is a hot tub, which we did not use, One night I tried to unlock it, but the location of the combo lock (clear down on the deck floor, and you could not pull it up to the light), and the darkness and my inability to get down on my knees to operate it, made me just give up – getting old I guess, lol.. I’m sure the Hummingbird staff would have been most helpful if we had called them about the fireplace, but we didn’t, and it’s my fault I couldn’t unlock the hot tub. Anyway – there were plenty of deer showing up each and every day – evenings mostly. It was in a location convenient to town, yet a quiet neighborhood. We would highly recommend Aspen Retreat to future visitors. It sure beats staying at a hotel! And the Hummingbird staff is so friendly!

We stayed at the Aspen Retreat. The house was very nice and clean overall. We had issues with wifi and ceiling fan not working but they came and got those resolved immediately. I suggested they have the cleaning lady dust as it was quite dusty in the tv cabinets, curtains covering doors and cob webs on fans. We also suggested they clean the dining room light as it was filled with moths. Overall very nice on the inside and accommodated us well. We will definitely use hummingbird cabins for our next stay.
